During my time as a Graphic Designer at Williams Lea/Goldman Sachs I spent most of my time designing presentations. My NDA here gave me the opportunity to create fun personal projects I’ve done using my updated presentation skills.

While browsing Heritage Type Co.’s Heritage Library↗ I came across incredible vintage citrus illustrations. They inspired this presentation deck and my deep dive into  the world of citrus.

BACKGROUND INFO

Family Tree

There are four known and widely accepted truespecies (first fruits; non-hybrids) of citrus: Citron, Pomelo, Mandarin, and Papeda. Most of the common citrus fruits today are all hybrids originating from these four fruits.

Origin Map

Research and evidence suggests the four truespecies originated across various parts of Asia. Over time, the fruits and their hybrids spread across the Mediterranean to the rest of the world.
